Christopher Gladwin
Christopher Gladwin is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and musician who has been producing, publishing, and performing electronic music internationally since the late 1990s. His work spans a range of projects, including Team Doyobi, The Wyrding Module, and ANZAK, through which he has explored experimental approaches to electronic sound, performance, and sonic culture.
Alongside his music practice, Gladwin has exhibited sound works, installations, and performance pieces at galleries, festivals, and contemporary arts events, including Manchester City Gallery, the Post War Festival of Art & Culture (Iraq), New Moves International, and the Kinetica Art Fair.
His current research investigates the intersections of occulture, sound, and technology, focusing on artistic practices that subvert modernity and challenge rationalist worldviews. Drawing on esoteric ontologies, ritual practices, and occult traditions, his work brings these into dialogue with electronics, the scientific imaginary, and dance music culture. Through this convergence of ancient philosophies and contemporary technologies, Gladwin explores sound as a medium for transformation, enchantment, and alternative modes of knowledge.
